The Villa

Come to me, I will be in the blu between sky and water. Where time stops.
Susan Abulhawa

Perla nel blu is a little villa situated in a panoramic position in Conca dei Marini, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy on the famous Amalfi Coast.

Its foundations and perimeter walls date back to 1600.  Its particular layout, with a development on several levels, is typical of the area.

Perla nel blu offers you two bright bedrooms both with vaulted ceilings; the livingroom; the kitchen; two bathrooms; a veranda two balconies and two terraces. A single chair bed in one of the bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room allows greater occupancy if needed.

On the upper floor there is a large solarium, ideal for relax in the summer, and a terrace with a pergola. A wooden bridge connects this part of the house to the garden where there is another pergola that covers a kitchen area with a barbecue and a large table trying out the dishes from our guide of local recipes. The garden also has a small swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, a corner shower, a lawn area with hammocks for a pleasant siesta in the shade of bougainvillea and jasmine.

The cottage has been completely renovated in 2017 taking care to preserve its original character, using recycled materials but greatly improving the layout. Particular care has been taken to the processing of lime-spaced walls to preserve a total breathability of the walls.

In the house there are two vintage gas fireplaces with ceramic logs, plus another ethanol fireplace, as well as air conditioning in every room that can cool or heat according to the season.

The bridge that give access to the garden and the terraces requires particular attention and so it is not recommended for those who have rather lively children.

Perla nel blu has been furnished with particular attention to detail and each object has been chosen with passion for its uniqueness, to create a cozy atmosphere to share with guests and friends.
