Alici alla piattella

Anchovies with lemon are a simply and tasty recipe. A seconde place typical of Vietri tradiction.


  • 400 gr of anchovies
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • fresh parsley
  • a clove of garlic
  • lemon
  • white wine
  • salt


After you clean anchovies, put them into a pan.  Season with garlic and chopped fresh parsley, and add white wine, a little olive oil and salt.  Cook for a few minutes till anchovies become white. To make them better flavor, add fresh lemon juice.  This dish can be served with bread croutons, fixed with salt, oil and pepper.
